COUNSELLING IN LEDBURY AND ONLINE

Hello, and thank you for visiting my website

I'm Heather Mead, a qualified adult and young people’s counsellor and registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP).

Having faced my own struggles and painful experiences in life, my journey into the therapy world began through wanting to understand myself at a deeper level. I found I loved how personal therapy opened doors to new ways of being for me. I grew to understand myself better, increasing my self-awareness and boosting my self-esteem and confidence. I felt far more at peace, and developed a clearer idea about the things that were important to me in life.

This inspired me to train and qualify firstly as an adult counsellor, and then as a children and young person’s counsellor, so that I could help others in the same way that counselling benefitted me.

Since qualifying, I have also trained in Walk and Talk Therapy. I have always found being in nature therapeutic, and I love being outdoors. I am delighted to now be offering this to my clients, as an alternative to counselling in the therapy room, or to working online.
